New Cover

I knew this anthology, Bride by Design, I was doing with Ruth Ann Nordin (writing as Barbara Joan Russell) was going way too smoothly. LOL. Someone found something that caused us to have to find a new image for our cover. The good news is, Anya Kelleye is working on a new cover and assures me that it will be done in plenty of time to meet the deadline. Anya is the best!

Anyway, we’re still looking at a February 14 release for this book. It will be published with Parchment & Plume. I can’t wait! This is the first project I’ve worked on with Ruth, although we’ve been friends a long time, and I’m honored to work with her. 🙂

Cover Reveal!

We finally have a cover for the anthology I’m doing with Ruth Ann Nordin, writing as Barbara Joan Russell. The name of the anthology is Bride by Design, her novella is Online Proposal, and my novella is Tristan’s Redemption. Bride by Design

It’s getting closer…the anthology, Bride by Design, which will include Barbara Joan Russell’s “Online Proposal” and my “Tristan’s Redemption”. The book cover will be ready for reveal very soon. We’re hoping for a February 14 release if everything goes as planned. It will be published by Parchment & Plume. I’m so excited about this project. It will be the first thing I’ve published with this pen name!

My next project will be a mystery I’ve been working on. I don’t have a title yet, and I’m not sure if it will be novel or novella length (hopefully, novel) because books will be the length they want to be, and you can’t force them to be different. After that, I’m not sure what’s on the agenda. I still have a book to write with my other pen name. So many books, so little time!

Halfway There!

I’m finally about halfway into the novella I’m doing for the anthology with Barbara Joan Russell, aka Ruth Ann Nordin. I’ve been really productive this past week, so I hope that keeps up. I can’t wait for this anthology to be released. I’m so honored to be asked to collaborate with her on this. She’s an awesome writer and a great friend!

Embarking on a Journey

I’ve been thinking about this new thing I’m doing. I’ve been established as an author in another genre for several years, but I wanted to branch out into something completely fresh and new, something a little sweeter. I’ve realized I’m scared. Not terrified because, after all, this isn’t brain surgery. I won’t kill anything on the operating table if I make a mistake. But still a little scared. I feel almost like a brand new author instead of a seasoned one. I know I’m going to have to have this new website, a new Facebook presence, new readers. A whole new platform! But I’m not afraid of a challenge. Being an author is always a challenge these days. So I hope a few of you will come along with me as I walk this path. and Merry Christmas to everyone!
